Former FESCO head Yevgeny Ambrosov leaves the Group – Media
Director General of OJSC Far Eastern Shipping Company Yevgeny Ambrosov has left FESCO Transport Group created on the basis of Far Eastern Shipping Company thus rejecting the position of FESCO owners, zrpress.ru reports.
In February 2009, major shareholder of Industrial Investors Group Sergei Generalov headed FESCO and proposed Yevgeny Ambrosov, his predecessor at the position of the Group’s managing company President, to chair FESCO board of directors. Then Ambrosov had a number of other proposals.
According to certain sources, Yevgeny Ambrosov had a proposal from Sergei Frank, Director General of Sovcomflot OJSC and former head of FESCO. There also was aproposal from Sovfracht. However, Ambrosov, who had been working for FESCO from 1979 and grew from the mate to the head preferred to take a break.
