"Vladivostok Sea Facade" undergoes construction changes

Within the program “Development of Vladivostok city as an APR international cooperation center” Vladivostok sea façade reconstruction is getting a great importance. A part of Vladivostok sea façade will have undergone constructional changes by 2012. In a fact, Vladivostok sea façade change works are going on today. The Federal State Organization “Rosstroi Far Eastern Directorate” press secretary Alexander Ognevsky reported to RIA PrimaMedia.

Work progress can be seen on Ruskiy Island (Pospelov Cape) where the first freight terminal moorage construction is almost finished. The moorage will be used for construction loads acceptance. At the same time four next moorage construction works are being carried out. Later the sixth moorage will be constructed around Pospelov Cape. It will be used for oil-loading fleet. All of these six moorages are being constructed from scratch. Now the constructors are building a new coast outline: 24 hours tens of trucks pour earth in to the sea, making a territory for future moorage walls. Five freight terminals on the Pospelov Cape will have constructed by the end of 2009.

Total cost of the freight terminal on the Pospelov Cape will amount to 978 million rubles assigned from federal budget. After it a contest to chose an investor-operator who will equip the moorages with shifting equipment and organize material handing work for project construction of the Summit.

Beside freight terminal on the Pospelov Cape construction bases for bridge constructors and “Far Eastern directorate of Rosstroy” are being built.
