SITC International Holdings Co., Ltd.(SITC) through its wholly owned subsidiary SITC Shipowning Group Company Ltd. (SITC shipowner) and the Taiwan international Shipbuilding Co., LTD. (CSBC Corporation) on September 29 signed an agreement for the construction of four 1800 TEU container ships, the SITC' news release said.
Vice Chairman and CEO of SITC International, Mr.Yang Xianxiang, Chairman of CSBC Corporation, Taiwan, Mr. Lai Shangui attended the signing ceremony.
The contract was signed by Vice President of SITC Shipping Group, Mr.Xiao SenYuan and General Manager of CSBC Corporation Mr.Chen Fenglin.
The amount of the 1800TEU newbuildings from SITC to CSBC would be reached to 12 after this signing. It will further improve SITC fleet structure, enhance the sustainable competitiveness of SITC in Asia market, the holding said in its press release.
