Throughput of port Arkhangelsk down 2.1% to 4.27 mln t in Jan-Sep’13

In January-September,  2013, port Arkhangelsk handled 4.27 mln t of cargo (-2.1%, year-on-year), IAA PortNews learnt from the port Administration. In the reported period, exports of oil product surged by 33.8% to 2.15 mln t, coal – up 1.67 times to 468,000 tonnes, timber – down 22% to 274,300 tonnes, cellulose, paper and cardboard – down 43% to 52,400 tonnes.

Transshipment of coastal trade cargo lost 35% to 1.2 mln t.
