Product and service quality should be major condition of bunkering companies’ existence, V. Olersky thinks
Product and service quality should be the major condition of existence for bunkering companies, IAA PortNews journalist cites RF Deputy Transport Minister Victor Olersky as saying at the media briefing in the Ministry of Transport yesterday. It was his respond to the proposal of Rosneft President Igor Sechin to restrict to three subsidiaries of vertically integrated oil companies (VIOC).
“All companies have the right to exist but certain price should be paid for that. This price is fuel and service quality,” Olersky said.
He also reminded that the market share of Russian VIOC subsidiaries is growing from year to year as they win the competition with minor bunkering companies due to high quality of fuel amid moderate prices.
