Cruise ships’ calls at port Sochi almost doubled in navigation of 2013 (photo)

The number of calls of cruise ships has almost doubled to 49 vessels at Commercial Seaport of Sochi in the navigation of 2013, IAA PortNews was told at the port.

Al in all in 2013, port Sochi was visited by 22,000 of foreign tourist passengers. 

Cruise navigation in port Shochi closed on October 21, 2013 with the departure of cruise ship Discovery. 

When the construction of the port is completed in December 2013 and 2 passenger berths for 300-meter long ships are put into operation, the number of calls is expected to surge by one third in 2014 and almost twice in 2015.
