  Oleg Glukhov chairs port division of RF Transport Ministry’s department for state policy in marine and river transport

  

  Oleg Glukhov has been appointed as the head of the port division of RF Transport Ministry’s department for state policy in marine and river transport. As IAA PortNews learnt from a source in the Ministry, the order was signed by Transport Minister Maxim Sokolov on October 25, 2013.
  
  Oleg Glukhov was born on 19.06.1971. In 1994 he graduated from the Admiral Makarov State Maritime Academy in Saint-Petersburg with specialization in maritime navigation and qualification of engineer-navigator.  In 1994 – 1998, he was a master's mate at vessels flying foreign flags; in 1998 – 2008: senior marine surveyor of at a commercial organization in the sphere of marine insurance of vessels and safe cargo transportation; in 2008 – 2013: Deputy Harbour Master and Harbour Master of port Ust-Luga (FSI Big Port St. Petersburg). Oleg Glukhov has been officially awarded and acknowledged by RF Transport Minister.
