FESCO Transportation Group has launched a new regular container service FESCO St. Petersburg – North America and started shipment of containers from the ports of the USA East Coast to Saint-Petersburg, the Group announced.
Shipments will be executed once a week from the ports of New York, Norfolk and Charleston with transshipments in the port of Rotterdam. FESCO provides through rates for cargo shipment.
Shipments from Rotterdam to Saint-Petersburg will be executed within the framework of FESCO ESF linking Saint-Petersburg and other European ports in Belgium, Germany, Italy.
The following cargoes are usually delivered from the USA: automobiles and spare parts, industrial equipment, agricultural raw materials, chemical goods, metals and metal goods.
FESCO St. Petersburg-North America is the second service from the USA Eastern Coast launched recently. In September 2013 FESCO launched a regular container service from North America to Novorossiysk and Sochi.
