    RS and RRR team wins Ust-Luga Cup Kasnas-Tallinn leg

    Yesterday, yachtsmen were competing on the leg from Kasnästo Tallinn of Ust-Luga Cup 2014 regatta. With expected transition time of 15 hour on the leg, the first yacht managed to cross the finish line 7.5 hours after the start.

    Favorable weather and a tailwind helped boats along the race.

    Team Murmansk Commercial Seaport failed to complete the course under the time limit for technical reasons and was withdrawn from the competition.

    A series of short races in the waters of the Tallinn Bay is scheduled for today.

    The competition will be judged by Estonian international referee Poksi Andrus.

    Rosterminalugol OJSC (Leningrad Region) has been Ust-Luga Cup General Partner for two years in a row.

    Ust-Luga Cup Partners are Transoil LLC, BaltTransService LLC, Russian Railways OJSC.

    CityРoint will provide an opportunity to observe the Regatta races online, on the Regatta official website.

    NAVICOM, GetTaxi, Ginza project and restaurant Koryushka are the Partners of the award ceremony which is to be held at the walls of the Peter and Paul Fortress (Saint-Petersburg) on June 11, 2014.

    The first Baltic Regatta Ust-Luga Cup was held in June, 2012 and was dedicated to the 10th anniversary of sea port of Ust-Luga. The successful regatta has become a significant event not only for the international sailing world, but for the business and media community as well. Following the regatta success and thanks to the great interest to further development of the project both in Russia and abroad, it was decided to hold the Ust-Luga Cup regatta annually.

    Ust-Luga Cup 2014 will be held between June 1 and June 11, 2014. The regatta boats will follow the former route: from Stockholm, Sweden to Saint-Petersburg, Russia via Finland's Mariehamn and Tallinn, Estonia. The participants and the guests will moor in beautiful places at picturesque islands of Sweden and Finland, enjoy a bright final show with a parade of sails at the Neva river and attend the award ceremony at the walls of the Peter and Paul Fortress.
