Shipyard “Oka” launches ice class boat Kapitan Belyayev for FSUE Rosmorport (photo)

On June 14, Shipyard “Oka” (Navashino, Nizhni Novgorod Region) launched the first of three ice-class workboats of project ST23W1 Kapitan Belyayev built for FSUE Rosmorport, the shipyard says in its press release.

The boat will leave the shipyard’s water area on July 8 for sea trials and delivery to the customer.
 
Okskaya Sudoverf (Shipyard “Oka”) based in Navashino of Nizhny Novgorod region was founded in 1907. The modern Okskaya Shipyard JSC was established through privatization of the state enterprise Navashino Shipyard “Oka”. The firm specializes in building multipurpose river and sea going vessels. The company’s major shareholder is Universal Cargo Logistics Holding B.V. (UCL Holding).
