Transoil LLC has closed the deal on acquiring of 25% of the authorized capital of Port Ust-Luga Transportation Company OJSC (PUL Trans OJSC). According to Transoil press center, the agreement of was signed on July 28, 2014.
The company says that acquisition of an operator providing services at the railways of port Ust-Luga is in compliance with Transoil strategy through 2020 aimed, in particular, at expansion beyond the segment of crude and oil product transportation by railway.
The range of services provided by Transoil will thus include both conventional services of an operator as well as comprehensive servicing of the rolling stock during loading/unloading operations in the port.

Port Ust-Luga Transportation Company (PUL Trans OJSC) was established in 2007 to provide transport services at the approach railways of Ust-Luga port by Russian Railways OJSC (50%) and Company Ust-Luga OJSC (50%).
