ANO United Transport Directorate to open vehicle accumulation facilities at port Kavkaz and in Slavyansk-on-Kuban by holiday season
ANO United Transport Directorate will complete the construction of two accumulative grounds by holiday season of 2015: near Ilyich settlement (at port Kavkaz) and in Slavyansk-on-Kuban (Krasnodar Territory). They will be able to accommodate 1,800 passenger cars and 500 trucks accordingly, press center of the Directorate says.
The construction in Slavyansk-on-Kuban has been nearly completed. The works left near port Kavkas include concrete surfacing of parking areas, construction of urban-drainage network, assembling of administration and amenity buildings, fencing and outdoor lighting.
The parking area for passenger transport will meet the requirements of passengers and drivers. The buildings will have waiting areas with the heating and air conditioning systems, medical stations, baby care rooms, dining facilities, shower and washroom facilities including those for physically challenged people. The truck accumulating ground covering the area of 5 hectares will have a checkpoint and the facilities for traffic operators.
This year, provisions are made by the United Transport Directorate to deliver passengers to the resort towns of the Crimean peninsula by ‘single ticket’ system: from the parking in Ilyich settlement by bus to the ferry and then, in Crimea, by bus to any of six towns (Kerch, Sudak, Feodosia, Simferopol, Sevastopol and Yevpatoria) and back or from the parking at Kerch port by bus to the ferry and then by bus to Anapa and back.
