Bunkering at port Vladivostok in 5M’16 fell 3 times, y-o-y, to 159,000 t

Total volume of bunker fuel sold at the port of Vladivostok and at its off-harbour terminals in January-May 2016 amounted to some 159,000 t, 3 times down as compared with the previous year result (about 460,000 t), Administration of Primorsky Territory and Eastern Arctic Seaports told IAA PortNews.

Over a third of this amount was bunkered at the off-harbour terminals. In May, off-harbour bunkering operations dropped 2.5 times against April to 4,500 t (7 times less than in May’15). Total volume of bunker sold at the port of Vladivostok in May decreased to 28,400 t.  

The number of bunkering operations was almost the same as in the previous year — 1,376 (against 1,408). Sales of heavy fuel amounted to 119,600 t, fuel containing material – about 37,000 t, diesel the rest of the amount including 70 t bunkered in May (3 operations).
