Bømlo, Norway based Eidesvik Offshore has been awarded yet another support vessel contract from Siemens Wind Power to support their operations in the German sector. Contract commencement will be in June this year, the Company said in a press release.
The Viking Poseidon will commence on a contract for Siemens Wind Power with estimated duration for 3-5 months including options. This is a strategic area of business for Eidesvik and we have now secured the second contract in this segment.

Viking Poseidon has been in lay-up since the previous charterer Harkand went into administration.
Eidesvik Offshore headquartered in Bømlo, Norway is a supply, subsea, seismic and cable-laying shipping company. The company owns and operates a fleet of 21 vessels including Viking series ten supply ships (platform supply vessels and anchor handling tug supply vessels), five subsea vessels, five seismic vessels and one cable-laying ship.
