Ust-Luga Cup awards ceremony was held on June 16, 2016, at the Peter and Paul Fortress in St. Petersburg. The winner in Group I was the team of EESTI RAUDTEE (Estonian Railways), in Group II – the team of Boskalis.
The ceremony was attended by Deputy Transport Minister of Russia Victor Olersky, Chairman of Ust-Luga Company BoD Valery Izrailyt, Director General of Commercial Seaport Lavna Aleksandr Aliev, etc.
The fifth Ust-Luga Cup regatta attracted 12 teams. Their crew members represented over 14 Russian and foreign companies.
Only 25% of more than 100 participants are experienced yachtsmen.
This year Ust-Luga Cup awards ceremony was included into the cultural programme of the SPIEF (St. Petersburg International Economic Forum).
