Following the RF Government’s decision on introduction of “investment quotas”, the Federal Agency for Fishery of Russia (Rosrybolovstvo) has obtained applications from nine fishing companies of the Khabarovsk Territory for construction of 16 vessels, Khabarovsk Territory Governor Vyacheslv Shprot said at the meeting with Ilya Shestakov, Deputy Minister of Agriculture, head of Rosrybolovstvo.
According to the press center of the Khabarovsk Territory Government, Vyacheslv Shprot emphasized that the regional authorities continue promoting the capabilities of the two shipyards in the Khabarovsk Territory. Due to this work, Khabarovsk and Amur shipyards have been included into the list of Russian shipyards to be awarded with orders for construction of fishing ships.
On the agenda of the meeting were the issues related to artificial reproduction of salmon, protection of aquatic biological resources through interaction of Rosrybolovstvo, regional authorities and fishing companies.
