Bockasjö and Volvo Cars to construct a logistics building for the car at the Port of Gothenburg
Bockasjö is expanding in the Hisingen area of Gothenburg. They have now signed an agreement with Volvo Cars to construct a completely new logistics building for the car giant at the Port of Gothenburg Logistics Park, the company said in its press release.
It has been confirmed that Bockasjö, one of the leading property development companies in Sweden, has signed an agreement with Volvo Cars to construct a new logistics facility at the Port of Gothenburg Logistics Park. Volvo Cars will lease 26,350 square metres of floor space.
The facility will serve Volvo’s test vehicle operations and will be built in two stages. The first stage will be completed in the summer and the second in spring 2018.
The building is the second of five buildings that Bockasjö will construct at the Port of Gothenburg Logistics Park. The first is already under way and will be completed in the summer. The tenant has yet to be decided.
Bockasjö is developing 300,000 square metres of land for warehousing and logistics purposes at the logistics park, which is located immediately beside the port.
