Dredging on inland water ways of Russia to total 35 mln cbm in 2017
The scope of dredging works planned for inland water ways of Russia is to make 35 mln cbm in 2017, IAA PortNews correspondent cites Victor Vovk, Deputy Head of Rosmorrechflot, as saying a the general meeting of Russian Chamber of Shipping held on 15 March 2017 in Moscow.
Victor Vovk says dredging on Russian rivers in 2016 totaled 18 mln cbm.
Building up of dredging works is among measures aimed at restoring design depth of inland water ways.
