Press center of RF Defence Ministry says the Varag missile cruiser and the Bystry destroyer of the Pacific Fleet practiced repelling air attack of the conditional enemy.
The ship detected and tracked 2 groups of air targets. MiG-31 fighters and Ka-27 helicopters acted as aircraft of the simulated enemy.
After the exercise, the ship crews conducted missile and artillery firing against the Saman targets. All targets have been engaged.
