Ship detachment of the Caspian Flotilla, including the Uglich small-sized missile ship and auxiliary vessels, has left Makhachkala for combat training, says press center of RF Defence Ministry.
Within 30 days, the servicemen are to provide safety of naval economical activity of Russia in the Caspian Sea, and hold different exercises.
Moreover, the crews will practice search-and-rescue activities, and conduct artillery firing against naval, air and coastal targets.
The servicemen will also get prepared for the Sea Cup contest held in August in course of the International Army Games.
