Bunker sales at port Vladivostok in Jan-Apr’2018 grew by 84% to some 390,000 tonnes
In January-April 2018, total sales of bunker fuel at the port of Vladivostok and its offshore terminals amounted to some 390,000 tonnes, up 84%, year-on-year (vs 211,900 tonnes), Administration of Seaports of Primorsky Territory and Eastern Arctic told IAA PortNews.
About one fourth of this volume was sold at the offshore terminals (eastern, western and internal), with the rest sold at the port. In April, sales via offshore terminals surged and made one third of total bunker sales.
In the reporting period, sales of heavy fuel oil totaled more than 348,000 tonnes, fuel containing material – about 30,000 tonnes with diesel fuel accounting for the rest of the volume.
The number of bunkering operations increased from 1,001 to 1,164.
