Moby Dik LLC (a Global Ports group company) has started handling vessels of Sea Connect line, press center of Ust-Luga Container Terminal says in a press release.
Container ships of the new line come to Kronstadt from Hamburg and then continue to the terminals of the Greater Port of Saint Petersburg. The vessel calls at Moby Dik are weekly with rotation from Rotterdam (Wednesday) to Hamburg (Friday) and to the port of Saint Petersburg (Monday). Moby Dik terminal is included in the rotation along with other terminals of the port of Saint Petersburg.
“Sea Connect being both a shortsea carrier and a feeder operator may make Moby Dik interesting for deepsea carriers and cargo owners, - noted Lev Kuzmin, Moby Dik’s CCO. - Container transhipment in the port of Rotterdam offered by the line creates additional opportunities for the terminal, foreign trade agents and deepsea carriers with a feeder contract with Sea Connect.”
