The Vladimir Panchenko dredger built by PAO Shipbuilding - Ship Repair Corporation features local content of 90%, the company told IAA PortNews.
According to company’s statement, imported equipment includes hoisting equipment (cranes, overhead-track hoists), compressors, winches and equipment for water treatment and waste disposal.
The rest of equipment, materials and components are of Russian origin.
The Vladimir Panchenko, a modern dredger of high capacity built under the sub-programme “Marine and River Transport” of the federal targeted programme “Development of Russia’s Transport System in 2010-2020” for the Administration of Lena Basin has been recently put into operation in Yakutia.
PAO Shipbuilding - Ship Repair Corporation (Gorodets, Nizhny Novgorod region) was established in 1918. The company specializs in composite and conventional shipbuilding.
