Comprehensive plan for core infrastructure modernization can be expanded with new projects according to approved procedure

A procedure for ranking activities (projects) to be included into the comprehensive plan for upgrading and expanding core infrastructure has been approved at the meeting of RF Government’s Transport Committee chaired by Deputy Prime Minister Maksim Akimov, says press center of RF Government.

The meeting also approved recommended practices on monitoring and introduction of amendments into the transport part of the Plan and federal project included into it. 

Besides, the composition of the Project Committee has been approved. Upon completion of the meeting the Committee approved nine federal projects of the Plan’s transport part: Europe – West China; Seaports of Russia; Northern Sea Route; Railway Transport and Transit; Transport and Logistics Centers; Communications between Economic Growth Centers; Reconstruction of Infrastructure of Regional Airports and Air Routes; High-Speed Railway Links, Inland Water Ways. 

According to the statement, approval of the federal projects ensures practical implementation of the Plan’s transport part. 

The Committee members also listened to a report on digital transformation of transport complex in the Russian Federation.
