Russian Railways: Loading of export cargo bound for domestic ports up 3.2% to over 132.5 million tonnes in 5M’19
Russian Railways says that loading of Russia’s export cargo bound for domestic ports grew by 3.2%, year-on-year, to over 132.5 million tonnes in January-May’2019.
In particular, coal loading grew by 11.4%, oil – by 3.4%, ore – by 15.8%.
Coal accounts for 49.5% of exports, oil – for 26.5%, ferrous metal – for 7.4%, fertilizers – for 6.3%.
In the reporting period, loading of export cargo to the ports of the North-West Region exceeded 54.3 million tonnes (+1.2%, year-on-year), to the port of the Southern Region – over 31.1 million tonnes (+0.9%), to the ports of the Far East Region – over 43.1 million tonnes (+6.7%).
