The newest small-size missile ship Orekhovo-Zuyevo, Black Sea Fleet completed the tasks as part of the permanent group of the Navy of the Russian Federation in the Mediterranean Sea and headed for its home base – Sevastopol, says press center of RF Defence Ministry.
At present, the ship is sailing through the Bosporus and Dardanelles straits heading to the Black Sea.
In the Mediterranean Sea, the ship Orekhovo-Zuyevo practised a number of combat training exercises, such as individual and group warfare and gunfire at various targets.
This is the first voyage to the far operational zone for the ship which was commissioned by the Russian Black Sea Fleet last December.
The small-size missile ship Orekhovo-Zuyevo performed tasks in the permanent group of the Navy in the Mediterranean Sea from March 2019.
