Throughput of Chinese ports grew by 4.1% to 5.5 billion tonnes in Jan-May’2019

In January-May 2018, the largest ports of China increased their cargo throughput by 4.1%, year-on-year, to 5.5 billion tonnes, China’s National Bureau of Statistics said. In May, Chinese port handled 1.2 billion tonnes of cargo, up 3.7%, year-on-year.

In 2018, the largest ports of China increased their cargo throughput by 4.2%, year-on-year, to 9.22 billion tonnes.
