Kamchatka border guards try to clear the way to vessel stuck in ice off the Kamchatka Peninsula
The operation on releasing of the Sakhalin-registered refrigerated fish transport ship Zarya which got stuck in ice off the Kamchatka Peninsula on Monday morning, Interfax reports. The Sakhalin-based fishing fleet monitoring service has announced that the vessel with the crew of 15 members is currently three miles to the east of the Peninsula coast. As it was reported earlier, fishing boats operating near Kamchatka had reloaded fish to the stricken transport ship.
