French dockers with the Confederation Generale du Travail (CGT) union staged a 24-hour strike Friday at the ports of Marseilles, Le Havre, Dunkirk, Nantes-Saint Nazaire, Rouen, Bordeaux and La Rochelle, all affected by state-sponsored privatisation reforms.
