Lumber cargo turnover decreased twice (to 387.4 thousand tons).
Dry cargoes transhipment decreased by 2.85% (to 4.580 mln tons), including that of ferrous metals that increased by 9.1% (to 4.032 mln tons), non-ferrous metals – increased by 24.5% (to 278.5 thousand tons), volumes of scrapped metals decreased by 33.3% (to 92.2 thousand tons).
Petroleum products transhipment increased 8.3% (to 5.88 mln tons). Box turnover of the port reduced by 5.8 times (to 7.296 thousand TEU).
Nakhodka port is located on both coasts in the northern part of Nakhodka Bay. The port has year round navigation. It is linked with railway systems of Russia and Western Europe by Trans-Siberian Line. In 2008 cargo turnover of the port increased by 14% and amounted to 15.2 mln tons.
