Total Terminals International’s port of Oakland facility will receive Maersk Line’s two scheduled Wednesday vessel services - TP5 and TP7 - from January 2010.
TTI said the calls were won despite competition from several rival US West Coast terminal operators and would deliver some 60,000 lifts per year for the terminal.
Both Maersk Line services call at Oakland after Los Angeles. The American Flag TP5 service continues on to Dutch Harbor, Alaska, then to Korea and Japan. The TP7 service departs Oakland for Kaohsiung, China and Korea.
