Off-shore transhipment complex of In-Transit CJSC completes its work in the Big Port of St.-Petersburg, 2009 navigation

Off-shore transhipment complex of In-Transit CJSC completed its work at 5А anchorage of the Big Port of St.-Petersburg (outside Kronshtadt) in 2009 summer navigation period, PortNews IAA learnt from Valeriy Eliseev, CEO of In-Transit CJSC (a stevedoring company carrying out off-shore transhipment of petroleum products).

Volume of Russian petroleum products exported through In-Transit CJSC amounted to 3.5 mln tons of fuel-oil and vacuum gas-oil (VGO). 617,000 tons fell onto VGO transhipment of overall volume of petroleum products. Petroleum products export volume (fuel-oil and VGO) transhipped by In-Transit CJSC amounted to 3.1 mln tons in 2008.

Both in 2008 and 2009 the company had three storage tankers at the port’s anchorage: ‘Skip Jack’, ‘Vladimir Tikhonov’ and ‘Sayan’ (Sovcomflot OJSC).
 
In 2009 petroleum products to be exported are delivered at an off-shore transhipment complex of In-Transit CJSC by river fleet from the group of Ufa, Samara, Nizhnekamsk oil refineries. The company has been occupied in off-shore transhipment of petroleum products for 11 years. Starting from 2006 there is only one stevedoring company working at an outer harbour of St.-Petersburg port – In-Transit CJSC.
