Public hearings on ecological renovation of Nevelsk Seaport took place on November 23, 2009, reported RIA Sakhalin-Kurily with reference to Boris Gordeev, head of Sakhalin branch of FGUP Rosmorport.
As per him, representatives of local Administration and citizens (about 20 people) did not express any significant volunteer any remarks on the project.
‘The works are designed for three years to be held in Autumn-Winter period,’ stated Gordeev. ‘They provide for renovation of operational water area of the port, access canal, navigation equipment facilities as well as vessel tracking management system’.
It is necessary to remind, that Federal Marine and River Transport Agency (Rosmorrechflot) is the Client of renovation of Nevelsk Seaport, FGUP Rosmorport is a developer its interests in Sakhalin region are represented by regional branch.
