‘It is the third vessel bought by the shipping company this year. The first one was procured in March, second – in June, and a day before the company-shipowner took delivery of a container-carrier of 4.805 thou tons dwt in the German port Flensburg. It is planned to be used for operation in regular container lines linking ports of Vanino and Vladivostok to Sakhalin, Kamchatka and Magadan,’ Vagin stated.
It is necessary to remind that in 2008 Sakhalin Shipping Company OJSC announced its plans of fleet renewal. As per Alexandr Matsuk, CEO of the company, the shipping company has elaborated a three-year program of fleet renewal under which it is planned to invest company’s funds and attract credit resources of Sberbank.
