Expert Advisory body on private-public partnership of the RF Ministry of Transport unanimously supported a project of construction of multifunctional sea transhipment complex Bronka in St.-Petersburg port strategically important for St.-Petersburg, reported press-service of Committee for transport-transit policy with reference to Nikolay Asaul, Chairman of the Committee that participated in the aforementioned Expert Advisory.
As per Nikolay Asaul, the members of the Advisory body highlighted avantports development is the only possibility for new cargo districts construction in the Big Port of St.-Petersburg because of the limited territory.
As per the results of Expert Advisory body session it was decided to submit an application for financing to the RF Investment Fund to obtain budgetary provisions on construction of a ship canal, operational and maneuvering water area as well as navigation support facilities within implementation of project of multifunctional sea transhipment complex Bronka construction.
It is necessary to mention that construction of multifunctional sea transhipment complex Bronka (MMPC Bronka) is provided for in the Concept of favourable areas development (avantports) of the Big Port of St.-Petersburg, elaborated by the Committee for transport-transit policy.
Necessary town planning documentation is elaborated to the date. There is a complex of investigation works carried out, all the necessary technical requirement are obtained, elaboration of technical documentation was completed.
