Maersk Line operates a fleet of approximately 450 vessels and a number of containers corresponding to more than 1,900,000 TEU, ensuring reliable and comprehensive worldwide coverage.
DP World Callao’s “Muelle Sur” is the first investment in Peru by DP World, one of the top four global port operators. A green field project, it involves the construction of a 21.5 hectare state-of-the-art facility including 650 meters of quay with 16m depth of water alongside, equipped with six super post Panamax gantry cranes, 18 RTGs plus auxiliary equipment as well as the latest generation information technology, to ensure optimal productivity.
The terminal will add about 850,000 TEU of annual container handling capacity to the port of Callao, the main gateway for imports and exports of the Peru’s rapidly expanding economy.
