TNK-BP to dispatch its first oil-loaded tanker ex Kozmino (Primorskiy kray) in Jan, 2010

Russian-British TNK-BP plans to dispatch its first tanker loaded with West-Siberian oil ex port Kozmino (Primorskiy kray) the end point of ESTO pipeline, mid January, 2010, reported RIA-Novosti with reference to Jonathan Kolek, company’s Vice-President.

TNK-BP plans to deliver 2.2 mln tons of oil via ESTO in 2010.

The Vice-President highlighted oil produced at Verkhnechonskneftegas will be mainly delivered via ESTO. The company considers the perspective of redirecting a part of West-Siberian oil from the West to the East, but it is too early to speak about the volumes.

‘It is possible the first tanker to be dispatched in the middle of January,’ the Vice-President said.

As it was earlier reported, oil dispatch ex specialized oil port Kozmino to the consumers is scheduled for the late December. It is necessary to remind the first oil cargo set was purchased by Finnish IPP Oy, that offered the highest buyer’s premium to the price of the seller (Rosneft) $0.5 per a barrel. Proceeding from the quotes in November, 2009 as calculated for Brent buyer’s premium to the price of the seller will amount to $1.7 per a barrel.
