Customs clearance in the region is carried out at the customs post of Shusharsky St. Petersburg Customs (including Kurortny and Primorsk areas of St. Petersburg). In accordance with an order № 515 Sertolo of regional subordination of Leningrad region, Krasnogvardiysky district, Oktyabrskaya railway station of Railway St. Petersburg Finnish shall also be included a city, in the region of Shusharsky Customs post.
Within of responsibility of customs checkpoint St. Petersburg South Customs there are Admiralteisky, Vasileostrovskiy, Petrograd and Central parts of the city of St. Petersburg, municipalities of Vyborg district of St. Petersburg: Pargolovo settlement, Sampsonievskii, Svetlanov, Sosnovskoye, Parnas, , the municipality - the municipality.
Customs clearance will be enhanced by increasing of the working hours of customs posts in South-West, Krasnoselskiy, Gatchina St. Petersburg Customs, attaching additional staff to them.

Currently, all customs offices in the region are working in normal mode. North-Western Customs Administration continuously monitors the possible occurrence of queues for entry to places of customs clearance. Measures to address them efficiently have already been taken.
