In the first quarter of 2010 (Q1,2010) 40% of crude oil was exported to South Korea. The rest was shipped to Japan, China, USA, Taiwan, Thailand and Singapore, in equal shares.
In general, the oil is exported in 100.000 tons shipment. In March, Nordic Cosmos tanker carried 145.000 tons, the largest shipments, since Kozmino port and the Eastern Siberia - Pacific Ocean pipeline started operating.
There was an increase in deliveries of oil to the discharge railroad viaducts, operating since Dec.28, 2009, the company said. In Jan. the 9-10 oil laden trains were discharged daily. VostokNefteTrans, ESPO railway operator acquired 1444 new tank-cars, carrying more oil. From April 5th, the company scheduled to discharge at the railroad viaducts at least 10 trains a day.
In Dec.28th TransNeft began operating the Eastern Siberia - Pacific Ocean (ESPO) pipeline, to export crude oil to the Asia-Pacific region. The 2.694-km pipeline passes through Taishet (Irkutsk region) - Ust-Kut (Irkutsk region) - Lensky (Yakutia) - Aldan (Yakutia) - Skovorodino (Amur region). Then oil is being shipped in tank-cars by railroad to Specialized Oil Seaport Kozmino.
