The seaport of Primorsk (Leningrad region) has announced it removes from midnight April 5th ice-class restrictions. Ships of the Ice2 class and above may call at the port from the date, the Primorsk Commercial Port said referring to harbormaster’s order.
Primorsk Commercial Seaport is the top Russian North-West port transshipping exported oil and petroleum products. The port’s last year throughput was at 79.157.2 tons of oil and diesel fuel. Last year 1.869 ships called at the port, 935 of them passing inward and 934 outward the harbor.
