Oil price up $1.31, to $84.01 in London, in New York to $84.87 (+1.11)

As of April 1st, the IPE Brent Crude February futures contract rose to $84.01 (+1.31) a barrel on the London-based ICE Futures Europe exchange. Light Sweet Crude gained $1.11, to $84.87 on the New York Mercantile Exchange.
