Federal Agency for Maritime and River Transport of the Russian Federation (Rosmorrechflot) supports the “TRANSTECH-2010” Exhibition and the Second International Conference “The Future of Russian Ports" to be held in St. Petersburg this October. Alexander Davydenko, the head of RosMorRechFlot said he would deliver a report at the conference, the event organizers said.
TRANSTECH Exhibition established in 1994 with the support of the Ministry of Transport, Russian Academy of Sciences. Russian Railways, Federal State Unitary Enterprise RosMorPort, the Government of St. Petersburg, and other Russian coastal regions, Trade Unions and associations of carrier companies have been active participants of the Exhibition. In 2008 the Association of Commercial Seaports decided the International Conference "The Future of Russian Ports" would be held together with the Exhibition. The Conference has enjoyed since the support of the Maritime Collegium of the Russian Government, the Maritime Board under the Govt. of St. Petersburg, the Federal Agency of Maritime and River Transport, Russia’s Ministry of Transport.
