Since February port has handled 38 thousand tones of capelin, mainly fish products of Russian companies. A year ago, our neighbors from Norway delivered to our docks 15 thousand tones of capelin, but this year port received much less Norwegian fish, Anton Artemiev said.

Noteworthy, the turnover of MMFP increased in 2 times in the first quarter last year - up to 714 thousand tons.

Murmansk Marine Fishing Port specializes in transshipment of fishing vessels, mother ships and transport refrigerator vessels. 100% of shares of MMFP JSC belongs to the Russian Federation in the person of the Federal Agency for Federal Property Management and Specialized State Enterprises under the Government of the Russian Federation “Russian Federal Property Fund”. MMFP turnover grew by 36% in 2009 compared to last year - up to 255 thousand tons of fish.
