In a week over, China Containerized Freight Index of freight container traffic has dropped by 0.5%, to settle at 1117.89 points, the Ministry of Transport of the PRC statement said. CCFI shrank by 1.3% on the European services, Southeast Asia services’ index fell by 0.45%, on the Mediterranean service, by 0.74%.
The China CFI of the freight container traffic reflects the dynamics of the freight prices on the export container shipments from China to 11 destinations (services) by carried by 16 international shipping companies: CMA-CGM, COSCO Container Lines, China Shipping Container Lines, Hanjin Shipping, Hapag-Lloyd, Kline , Maersk, MOL, NYK, OOCL, P & O Nedlloyd, PIL, Shanghai Hai Hua Shipping, Shanghai Jin Jiang Shipping, Sinotrans Container Lines and SITC Container Lines. The index is calculated as well separately for each of the services, as in general (composite index).
