International Workshop "Trade and Economy Fuel Oil Supply of bunker fuel" will be hosted in St. Petersburg, April 26-27 this year, PortNews IAA reports citing the seminar press office and VostockCapital Company.
The seminar's agenda includes several issues of environmental legislation and its impact on the market of HFO and bunkering service, reduce of hazardous emissions, demand and supply of fuel oil. The workshop participants will be reported of a detailed overview of the market and the quality of the bunker fuel at several ports of Russia and Europe, an overview of the production of high sulfur and low-sulfur heavy fuel oil in Russia and CIS countries.
There will be discussions over the effectiveness of the dark-oil product exports in different regional areas, the prospects of HFO production and the markets. The seminar will focus on quotation on HFO and bunkering services, surcharge for the content of sulfur and the economic feasibility of blending, the management of prices and credit risk in trade of HFO and bunker fuel, strategic procurement and supply of fuel, future changes in customs regulations of bunkering operations in Russia.
