Experts predict oil export duty growth from May 1st by $15

The export duty on crude oil from May 1, 2010 might gain about $15 to $284 a ton, Finam forecast said referring to Russian Ministry of Finance data.

Since April 1st, the crude oil duty has been at $268.9 a ton, $15.3 up from that set by the Russian Govt. in March ($253.6 a ton).

The duty on heavy petroleum products from April 1st has been at $104.2 a ton vs. $98.7, on light oil products – at $193.5 a ton against $183.2 in March.
