Big Port of St. Petersburg Authority to lift ice capacity restrictions on vessels since April 20, 2010

Ice сcapacity restrictions on vessels in the area of responsibility of the Port Authority of the Big Port of St. Petersburg (Big Port of St. Petersburg, Ust-Luga, Vyborg, Vysotsk) are to be lifted since April 20, 2010. According to PortNews IAA, External Affairs department of administration relieve constraints from vessels with a capacity of ship power plant below 2.000 hp. The restrictions on the ice class are still effective.

The 2009-2010 winter navigation in the Russian seaports of the eastern part of Gulf of Finland was reportedly launched on December 1, 2009.
