The state-owned Russian Railways (RZD OJSC) loaded and carried in January-March this year 2.476.000 tons of cargo intended for the construction of facilities of the Olympics-2014 in Sochi. The volumes include 2.105.000 tons of building materials, 224.000 tons of cement, 72.000 tons of oil, 15.000 tons of timber, and 60.000 tons of ferrous metals, the RZD press office said.
