Unifeeder, a Danish company announced a EUR85 BAF increase on all feeder services from May 1, 2010. The surcharge rise was due to grown bunker prices in recent months, the Company said in a statement posted on its website.
Unifeeder, the largest North Europe’s feeder service has been in the market since 1985 handling over 30.000 shipments annually. Unifeeder carries most types of cargoes, such as hazardous chemicals, car tires, paper reels, pet food, etc. The Company operates its fleet of about 26 vessels of 500-1.500 TEUs.
