The volume of freight forwarding services amounted to 14.535 TEUs, a 26% increase over Q1,09 (11.504 TEUs). Reefer containers counts rose by 12% to 9.843 TEUs.
FESCO’s rail traffics volumes reached 7.6 billion ton/km, a 48% spike from Q1,09. Container volumes by railroad jumped 130%, to 42.378 TEUs.
In Jan.-Mar., 2010 FCT & NUTEP, NCC’s container terminals handled 295.125 TEUs, up 31% from Q1,09.
VCT Terminal has seen 62,215 TEUs, a 48% year-over-year. CPV posted a 63-percent surge in bulk cargoes, at 1.8 million tons vs 1.1 million tons in Q1, 2009.

Transport group FESCO, formed on the basis of the Far Eastern Shipping Company (FESCO), is a largest Russian container operator. The Group has its own vessels fleet of over 1 million DWT. The Compnay’s own container fleet is over 50,000 TEUs. The total capacity of the FESCO's ports handling facilities exceeds 1.6 million TEUs.
